Just wondering if 284watts RMS will be enough to effectively push the ID10 V3?
Right now I have a JBL GTO 75.4 (104x4 RMS, 284watts RMS from the rear channel when bridged) powering my front comps, and my rear 6x9's are running off the rear channel on my CDA-9833. So my rear channel is open on my amp. I was thinking of bridging it and running a single ID10 V3 sub off it until I can afford a separate amp at some point. Does this sound like a good idea?

Can this sub go pretty loud and still maintain good SQ? I don't listen to my music that loud, too much and my ears hurt, so screw that, I want my hearing, but sometimes, it's nice to crank it to a good song.

I'm sure I'll be blown away, but I've never had a sub setup in my car before, so I am just tryng to get a feel of what I can expect.

BTW image dynamics subs are very efficient, like loudsystem said, ull be fine and may not even desire more power.

Yea, thats why I am only going with one sub for now. If I need more bass, I'll get a sub amp, and another sub.

How can I try it out? No one around here sells ID subs...
Oh well, I'm not too worried, from all the reviews I've read on this sub, it sounds just what I am looking for.

I have 2 IDQ12 V.2's and am absolutely blown away by the volume and quality. It's a good choice, especially if your mainly focused on really tight, good sounding bass that doesn't have to rattle the car next to you.

Any advantage with going with a 12in over a 10?

Would I lose any noticeable response? The 12in is $30 more.

u mean accuracy? no u will not, larger woofers being less accurate is a myth.
