looks good to me
you're fuckin' tall
hard to not lean forward when going heavy like that on front squats
good shit man.
as someone said before... you are tall. which means you have a very large wingspan... you're going too deep. just aim for 1/4 of the movement. you'll be able to use more weight this way too
Wouldn't it be tailspan in this case?
haha actually im not that tall. im 6'1. but those oly shoes probably add another inch or so
either way, crosswinds and the coriolis effect come into play
ballz is gonna challenge u to a front squat off
I need to learn how to use the bounce at the bottom. I'm so used to holding the bottom position and not using the bounce to help me back up. Wow that sounds gay.
Sick. How do you find your wrists feel when you start going heavy?
Looking at your technique I might have to try some, for some reason I thought you had to hold 'em different than that.
i really ought to start squatting in oly shoes..what kind do you have?
i cross my arms, i dont hold it like that, but looks great regardless.
sup man. no pain or discomfort whatsoever. everything feels on spot. im gonna max on fronts in a week or two. ill get a vid of that also
vs athletics. i got them for like $45. thinking about getting werksans since they have an even lower heel iirc. im tempted to buy the botevs but i cant justify $120 for oly shoes
Shit my wrists dont like to bend that way. Crossed arms for me.
I do crossed because my arms are so jacked
Looks great man
looks good to people worried about clean grip it might hurt at first but my wrists got used to it after a couple weeks and front squats felt so much ebtter once I started using the clean grip.
The VS model that you have has the lower the heel. The older all white ones that have the high heel. That being said I want to pick up the Addidas Iron Work III because I'm tired of looking at my VS'.
Front squats look solid. You might be able to get your elbows higher if you let the bar roll back a little more on your finger tips - minor detail though, and I can't really see your elbow position at the bottom.
i have the old white ones too. i like the new ones more. and i agree with the elbows.
good clean front squats.. you training for an olympic lifting meet or something?
If your gym barbells can't hold enough plates, try placing one on each shoulder running parallel.
I cross my arms since my wrists don't bend like that. Try keeping your elbows above parallel. It will help keep from trying to rock forward.
