Just finished watching it and even though it was a downer it was still  imo. Both Norton's mirror monologue and his father's at the end were incredible....I also liked howSpike Lee had Norton save the dog from suffering and death, and later on said how it was the best thing that ever happened, and then showed how guilty his girlfriend and best friend felt about not doing the same for Norton...powerful movie

    It was a good film.

father is played by Brian Cox, who is great in all movies i've seen him at in the past 4 years.

It is my favorite Spike Lee movie. Plus Ed Norton is always great.

And it makes you think? How would you spend your last 24 hours? I think I would have to make a run for it.

I loved the concept of the story, and I would agree, it might also be my favorite Spike Lee movie. Ed Norton is the bomb.

Monologue in the bathroom is one of the most powerful pieces of acting Edward Norton has ever done...

Also makes you think about your own life, all the things you think are very important, aren't really all that important.

hell yeah 25th hour is one of the greatest movies i've seen. and american history x and fight club were freakin awesome too. I've just been disappointed with some of the other movies ed norton has also done -- italian job? the score? soooo stupid. :wtf:

In all fairness, his character in the Italian Job was pretty decent. And you didn't like "The Score"?? :ugh:

the score i can see more of a case to argue cuz he does play a good retard. but he can do so much better than his character in italian job. i liked the movie, i just didn't like him in it.

ditto on the mirror monologue...that was the best part for me....

i love Norton, he's been great in pretty much all his films (rounders, italian job, ahx, score, fight club, primal fear...even death to smoochy lol)

Ed Norton is a really great actor. He hasn't been in a lot of movies recently though. I wonder what he's working on.
