Ok, I have a 240sx with an sr20. The problem is that the speedometer doesn't read the mph right or something. I was told that the problem was the speed sensor that is in it is the sr20 one and is reading in km/h and I need the ka24 speed sensor to read it in mp/h. The speedometer basically when I'm going like 20ish it's way above 20 more like 35-38. The question I have is wtf do I need to get the speedometer to read correctly, the ka24 speed sensor? or what? Also, if that is the case where can I find one or where can I find whatever part I am needing.

Just go to any autoparts store..They will have the KA speed sensor..Or just buy a jdm gauge cluster and learn the kmh to mph conversion.

Also, This is a good reason why Im going to go KA-T..That way, Any problems I have can be fixed by simply going to an auto parts store.

I am guessing you switched from a KA24E not a DE correct? E uses different pulse than a DE

OK, then is the motor a S13 SR? you need to match a with a S14 speed sensor. so if you have a S13 motor in a S14, you use a S14 speed sensor to make it work with the stock gauge. there ar not different MPH/KPH speeds sensors. just S13 auto, S13 manual, S14 auto, S14 manual the differance is the gauges you use.

any S13 sensor(attached to that mating transmission) will work with either S13 MPH cluster or S13 MPH cluster, but it will not work right with a S14 cluster. that the issue?

hopefully that clears it up a bit.
