    my computer looks great with the huge resolution of the 2405, but DVDs and TV looks like crap - like the image is being stretched too far...

    is there anything i can do to get it to scale better?

    tv - using my directv box --> tivo --> s-video --> monitor
    dvd - using the computer --> DVI

    note, HD content and other high-res movies look *money* when played through my computer. its just DVD and TV

    I've never had any issues with watching a DVD on my 2405, they all look fucking stellar :dunno:

    I use VLC media player if your looking for software. If your not, isn't tv like 320 x 320 and i'll bet your resolution is at like 1900 x something. I think that will generally lead to shitty picture. Sorry i can't be of more help

    well definitely, both DVD's and TV are lower resolution than 1900x, but there should be something to scale them up.

    i'm really curious as to what keylempa is using
