I get a 34$ all-club sport membership, no contracts, no signup fee's deal from work.

Is there a better country-wide option? In about 3 months, I'll be traveling 2-3 weeks out of the month, every month

Their website advertises a 39$ online only rate.

Maybe the other chains have a similar plan?

    whats up SD

I'd like to start training again soon. Training over at LSBB presents some problems though. It's damn next to impossible for me to make it there by 6pm.

And even if I did that... if I train over with you guys, I will still be done job training in 3 months and from that point forward I will be out of town 2-3 weeks out of the month.

I don't see another option than a nation-wide commercial facility.

go to a 24 and ask if they have a pre-payment plan...

i paid for 1.5 years up front, and got 3 years' membership from that
every year after the 3 is $24/yr.

all-club access except for the super ultra mega sports or whateverthefuck

Step 1) Establish boundaries with employer so they don't run you like THEIR little bitch
Step 2) Leave by 5:30 PM
    Step 3) Profit?

24 Hr is a viable option. Shit I have a 24 hr membership just for the exact reason you specified traveling.

Anyway how is the new job goin, you like it or what?

Check and see if your health insurance will pay for the gym membership. This is becoming more common, but you have to ask about it.

If I was stickin around houston, that would make sense - but in smaller cities, golds becomes sparse. My goal with this membership is to maximize my ability to train no matter where I am.

Well I kinda hate my salary except for when I work the 5 hours of overtime I'm eligable for every week - and a 9hr day isn't too different from a 8 hr day.

I get 90% of that time done in the mornings. But like for example today. I left the office at 5:10 and didn't make it home until 6:15. And thats a SHORTER drive than if I were going to LSBB.

As for the job, it's pretty cool. Tons of talent in my office. I never fully understood the fetish for cuties in business attire until I got here. The ladies at work are SMOKIN!

Theres a whole bunch of sports leagues put on by the company, including a corporate tug of war I want to show up to and win in April!! I've already asked about ringers thinking you, Ron and Sandy might wanna come up for some free beer, bbq and ownage. No word yet, but initial signs point to not so likely.

Overall, it's alright. It's kinda being my life right now, but they are paying me enough to split a ridiculous townhouse with a friend and afford a new 350z so whatever.

I'll give you a call this weekend, we should hit up the ginger man and ball it out.

I decided fuck it, and bought the month to month thing tonight. If I find a better deal, I can cancel this thing at any time.

Evidently theres this baller gym in houston called the houstonian that all the vp's of my company work out at, so i think i might have to make a couple of appearances over there to get some face time with the execs

I'm just gonna quote you, but there were multiple responses that I would send that exact same msg to
