Sorry if this is a repost. But I dont have the search tool option because im a cheap bastard. Anyways, I was wondering what brand of ammo does offtopic buy. Ive only tried two brands so far. Remington and CCI. So far I like the results that I get from shooting my CCI rounds.

I go to Wally world and ask for two bricks of 22 lr. Whatever it is they hand me is what we shoot. I couldn't even tell you what brand it is. :) I do know that it is just under $9 for 550 rounds. So that pretty much speaks for itself.

That's them. Green"ish" box right? My daughter goes through them like butter. I don't think I've gotten to shoot more than 100 rounds through her 10/22, but I sure get alot of loading practice. ;)

if you have one of those 25 round mags, you should buy a speedloader. best investment ever. if you don't have either, get both. nothing beats loading 25 rounds in 10 seconds.

Remington bricks from Walmart. I tried CCI and had terrible luck with it. About 20% FTF ,even after multiple strikes, out of a box of 100.

Depends on what I want to do. If I'm just plinking w/ the 22/45, then I get the wally world 500 rounds for $8 special. If I'm wanting to be somewhat more accurate, then I'll go wtih Wolf Match or CCI Subsonic. I've also shot some Eley to see what it's like. It makes a good difference in groups but isn't worth the money unless you were shooting a match.

    Federal Bricks > Remington Bricks

Remington .22LR bricks are fucking worthless rounds in any pistol/rifle.

I use Winchester Wildcats primarily. They shoot through my semi-auto nicely and I find it much cleaner than some other brands I have shot.
I have a box of bulk Remingtons that jam up my gun all the time. They don't seem to have the power to cycle the bolt. They also leave alot of residue behind.
