a lot of people put their videos up just to check their form or mark their progress, and i think many people get confused and think they are trying to brag (mostly the haters who come on youtube and talk shit about their form , or how much "they" can do)...

I have done 29 full range "bodybuilder style" and that was with a max in the 405 range. I would love to see you guys claiming over 30.

My buddy who has benched 525 raw is getting close to 40 but he's never hit it, I think 38 is the most he's done with 225.

Then again limit strength isnt exactly the deciding factor here. 420 bench or not I'm having a little trouble believing you can hit 40. Prove it :p

I got 25 half assed reps a year or so ago. I could barely move for like 3 days. hell, now Id barely push it 12 times.

I'll buy you a one year sub if you do it. No shit. My word is gold. or at least copper. 40 full reps, spotter no where near the bar. I'm not shitting you, you do it, I'll hook your lying ass up.

i mean high on chest, elbows out and full range of motion. Not constant tension style were they just pump without any real care. I touch my chest with a slight pause as well. I cant bench fast, i get hurt immediately. Even if i did it with shitty form and half reps i still wouldnt get 40. Constant tension style (no lockout) would be even harder when you think about it. Full range allows the blood to free up at the top.

Jimmy Pelchia(known for lifting feats) has done 59 reps and hes been seen skull crushing 315+ on video. He was the guy that ronnie coleman put a beating on in a rep off were ronnie did 79 reps and was asked to stop. I know how hard a legit 25+ is with 225..40 or more is unreal. My training partner does 405 for 6 clean reps raw BB'er style and he could barely get 225 for 40, if he even could.

MY friend and someone who trained me for my first show has done 405 for 21 reps as well against ed coan in a rep off(they were good friends as well) and he was 300+ under 9% bf and a best bench at about 600. I buried him this year unfortunatly :(. He used to goof off with 225 for 40-50 reps and it wasnt easy for him either. How retarded is 405 for even 10 nevermind over 20

I guess it comes down to how these guys are repping it.

Yeah thats him, no doubt he's a strong dude but I've learned not to believe things until I see them when it comes to stuff like that. I'd be expecting the same thing if I said it.
