Turners has AE .223 for $6.99/20 every day and I think it is better ammo than Remington

This might be a dumb question, but do ammo prices ever drop? As in, not during a sale, but in general.

Nothing wrong with it but its not a good deal or anything. Turners carries AE ammo (I shoot better groups with AE than UMC) for the same price. I guess if you only shoot UMC or if your rifle is picky then pick it up

Maybe if we didn't have two wars going on and another on the horizon. But no, I don't think you'll ever see an ammo drop

the only ammo I have ever seen drop is when a fresh supply of milsurp comes in. Other than that, no :hsd:

better groups? are you shooting off a bench?

this ammo will be for plinking, and at ~$0.50/box more than walmart its not that bad (like i said before).

plus, if its the same price, how can it not be a good deal?

I meant .223 ammo in general. I was lucky to have picked up some (but not a lot) of XM193, Q3131, and AE .223. I've been saving that stash and shooting my PMC .223. Pretty soon I'll be sitting on that stuff too.
