Due to my idiocy I didn't go to college after HS and worked at various jobs. Now I'm almost 23 and I fear that my life will be a waste if I don't do something.

I'm looking for a branch that will provide me with the best civilian life after I serve.

I'm leaning strongly towards the usmc.

    Any unput is appreciated.

nah, it's not too late. you'll have to deal with kids right out of high school, and sometimes that might annoying. and look forward to having some booter officer younger than you telling you what to do. i'd say go air force.

pick the branch that fits the desire and needs of what it is you seek in life.....we can all say X branch is better then X branch due to personal opinions but in the end, it's on you to make the choice that will shape your future.

I joined at 21 and wish i would've joined fresh out of HS. The shock of people telling me when I can eat, take a piss ect. took a while for me to get used to.

dude, my buddy got free lasik. or maybe it was that prk or whatever. either way he doesn't wear glasses anymore, and it was free.

he had to wait a year for it, though. this is navy btw. dunno about other services. had to get it done in order to be a seal.

i got bills to pay so i'm kind of worried about my finances. I'm 100 percent set on the air force.
