anyone own anything in this calibur? saw a guy shooting them at the range and it looked like fun. i was looking around on gunbroker and it lookslike you can get a rifle pretty cheep. i want to buy the gf a rifle with a bit more kick than a .22lr

is ammo cheep like .22lr or is it alot more because of the round not being as popular?

.22WMR is usually about $6 or so for 50 rounds, so you're looking at alot more money than you would spend with regular .22LR.

yeah, 22 mag prices are about the same as other premium 22lr cartriges. if you are shooting at distances under 100 yards, i would just stick with 22lr.
