    As I bought it...

As it sits now... still needs a bipod and sling but pretty well done.

And with my AR for good measure...

  5. Sweet. Other than different color components and the optic, that's exactly the same as mine.

stealth kidd trigger. When you first said you were getting a black kidd I was thinking "People are not going to know it's a kidd". (When people see a red 10/22 trigger they know or assume it's a kidd).

Then I was thinking you can go way stealth...

    "Check out my trigger".
"Whoa that's awesome, you do the trigger job yourself?"
"Yeah just went at it with a dremel and a cratex wheel, tweak some stuff you know"
    "Holly fuck this is nice!"
    "Naw man I'm BS'ing you, it's a kidd trigger"

I would tell people I just dipped the whole thing in shampoo overnight and now it's smooth as butter

Seems nice so far. I had a lot of friends recommend it to me as they all had it on their 22 so I figured it was worth a shot. Was only $89 so if it sucks I don't feel bad getting rid of it. :)

Wow I paid that for the optic on my rifle and it doesn't look nearly as cool as that one. :hs::wtc:

Picked up the last of the stuff I needed for the rifle today and then went out shooting. It shoots like an absolute DREAM. The magazines need a little bit of adjustment yet, but damn does this thing shoot nice.

I wish I got the 16" barrel. :sad2: 20" is a bit too much. :wtc:

    That's what she said. :mamoru:

Yeah. If my 597 hammer doesn't make the rifle a lot more fun to shoot accurately, I'm making a 10/22 :big grin:

It won't..... BTDT. Save yourself the time and money and get a 10/22.

BTW, has your gun exhibited the nefarious F/F problems associated with the 597's?

Went shooting again today and "failure to extract" was the phrase of the day. Just ordered a Kidd Match Bolt and hopefully the issue will go away.
