A&P 20d pic

    Just got my 20d. Taken today with just the kit lens.

    Tried to calibrate the monitor to match the printer but when i print still comes out way too purple, compared to what I see on the monitor. Does it appear purple to you all (the water). Mine is a nice blue but I can't get the monitor set right....

    very blue to me and my printer prints exactly as my monitor looks

    My monitor has an sRGB setting...looks very blue

    Hmm interesting.

    Now that the ink finally dried on the print and i saw it in some decent light its a little more blue than I thought. I guess I'm going crazy :dunno:

    Nope, just standard canon 18-55 AF F4-5.6

    the water looks fine but the bird is over exposed.

    how are you finding the 20d? im am looking into purchasing one in the near future and would love to hear some feedback from someone who owns one

    I love mine. Works great, wish I had more lenses though... :sad2:

    :bowdown: I love it. I wish we could get some decent weather on one of my days off though. Its been crap ever since I got it.


    anyway, I'm coming from a Nikon CoolPix 885. Was ready for something a little more advanced and that would last me a while. The modes are great (Tv, Av, full manual). I haven't tried many of the programmed modes yet.

    Been shooting full raw and I love the abilities it gives me in the post processing side of everything. Would buy it again in a hearbeat! :bigthumb:
