Every single one of these body kit cars has been horrendous.... I think they should just let Pontiac die a dignified death instead of beating the horse with these crappy things.

some of the styling cues they chose should have stayed in the 80s. it's nice in most ways but in many others the vehicle is just too over done.

Not too sure about the front clip but there is no way I would spend $52K on a Camaro with a TA appearance package.

Well, the price isn't THAT BAD when you factor in the horsepower numbers. You're paying for more than just an appearance package. If the $53k they're asking gets you a complete car with those horsepower numbers, I'd say that price is actually a bargain!

I love the way it looks EXCEPT that lower lip. Why the hell does it protrude so far out? If they pulled it in closer or did anything else to smooth the transition I'd think that thing was amazing.

You can buy a brand new loaded Camaro SS with the same horsepower and torque and pay 25% less. Tell me again how the price isn't THAT BAD?

With the deals you can make now, you can get a nicely equipped 2LT Corvette for the same or less.

The Trans-Am has always been a garish caricature of a muscle car. Hideous is the name of the game. This looks quite appropriate.

With the exception of the screaming chicken on the hoods of some of the 2nd and 3rd gens, I think you are dead wrong.

If you think the optional TT 900hp LS9 is included in the $53K starting price, you are smoking crack!

    Key word... OPTIONAL.

There is no way on God's green earth that any company would be able to produce a brand new car with a 900hp motor for $53K.

I call it not a factory color. Anyone can make a car gaudy but that doesn't mean that they are all gaudy.

    I like this game! :)

Seriously though, I realize it's a particularly bad example, which is why I chose it, but I think the car looks just as ridiculous in black or white or whatever your favorite color is. The stock Firebird barely passes IMO, but between the FB and the Camaro, I always did prefer the Camaro -- the styling cues aren't ridiculously overstated like they are on the FB. Or maybe it's because I've been stuck in The South for over 20 years now, and the FB is too associated with redneck trailer trash in my mind.

(no offense Justintiime, you're actually taking good care of yours, but you're the exception that proves the rule I'm afraid.)
