Car will make its official debut at SEMA this year!
The side profile and back end look better than the front, imo.
Whats under the hood? Just another blown 3v making ~400 hp like all the other "special edition" S197s, or something else?
Not sure about that one yet--I'd imagine it'd have to be more power than mid-400 range, though. Saleen already offers a car at that level (The 435 S)
actually looks pretty good...just tell me the hood scoop is functional.
I love the hood. The whole car looks good.
looks sick. first new-gen mustang i've liked.
Ive always loved the way saleens look. This one is no different.
WOW.... that looks hot.
Best looking non stock 'stang I've seen in awhile...
every mustang rear should be that
EXACTLY what i was thinking.
as hot as it is im just not sure i could live with the "oh another modified mustang" stigma when you could just buy a '11 and do stealth mods
I can't wait to have a 2011 sleeper... The ONLY mod i want to do cosmetically is replace the GT badge on the side with 5.0 and get the rocker stripe with GT right behind the front wheel... I think that would be sick!
That actually looks quite nice though still more boring than the new Camaro.
looks 10x better than stock in the rear.
too many versions of the new mustang. i wish theyd stop selling them for a dollar a piece
Nice another version of the mustang that does the same thing they all do with bolt on brakes, suspension, and a supercharger. I will pay $50,000 more for it!
and the original shelby's weren't just that? it's an art form obviously 3rd party modding mustangs. tell me you wouldn't drive one.
Saleen? I dunno, it kinda looks like a mustang to me.
no not at all. id buy a base gt, throw $5k at parts and have the same EXACT thing for less than half the price of that pos
I know a mexican with a 2002-2004 (i forget what year exactly) saleen s281 and it's pathetic, hardly any faster at all than a regular gt, and probably slower being that he has a big ass sub box in the back with giant speakers
All that said...aren't they going to release a bigger engine soon for the gt's? won't that make the 281 smaller than whatever the new engine is supposed to be?
there is no such thing as a "sleeper" mustang. That's like saying "Oh my lamborghini is a sleeper because it has stock wheels."
When most people see a mustang, the first thing they think is "i wonder what kind of mods they have" not "I wonder if they have any mods."
well sleeper in the sense that it's not flashy cosmetically... as in underwhelming kind of how the bullit pulls it off
