2008 Hummer H3T SUT: by the end of the summer

I kind of like it, if only they would put a more powerful engine in the H3. I'll take a V8 please

Needs a interior redisgn of the dash and that fugly steering wheel. The dash and the steering wheel are two reasons why I bought a Sierra over a Canyon.

Make me a regular cab/2 door extended cab and I'd bite.

    That'll show thosed damned Arabs!

A version with a gun instead of an ATV would be cool, though.

um no. Hummer is a much higher-level trim. Plus v8 option. h3 buyer is a much different person from a colorado buyer.

Yeah, they love big trucks there. The 10c/gallon gas helps too.

Strangely, most of the people who own them don't live in the dunes, or anywhere else that a truck would be useful... :dunno:

the h3 is capable, I will start there... But the "Hummer" badge isn't really much about capability as it is about image. I wouldn't call it poser, because it will perform it you try, but its users don't generally take it there.

Sad, isn't it? Hummer used to mean quality, and a dollar used to be a lot of money, and people used to not drink on Sunday.

Hummer still is quality. Have you driven one? It feels very solid.

Anything that big and heavy will feel solid. Can you beat the everloving fuck out of an H3 like you can an H1? No. Well, yes, but you won't drive it home.

What's replacing the H1, anyway? It's not like the Army's going to go back to having everyone march to Point B. It's not the MRAP thing, is it? That's so much overkill for any area that isn't covered in mines.

No. Collies look like shit, and I'm fairly sure they don't have optional front/rear locking diffs.

Oh also MT option with V8 please.

The H1 was not a street-bound vehicle. The H3 is. And the H3 compares favorably with other offroad-oriented street-going vehicles such as the Jeep Wrangler. It also does it with refinement that the Wrangler couldn't even dream about.

my mother inlaw has a loaded H3, interior is one of the best GM product I have seen. THe 5 banger is buzzy but i imagine this truck version with a V8 would be compelling.
