They've been testing it at the local drag strip in Milan, MI. Sounds like a N/A 5-speed, but there aren't any details I could find anywhere. Pretty sweet that the auto manufacturers are coming out with cars like these and the Drag Pack on the Challanger and what not.

I'd like to see some mods on that. Should move pretty well.

400hp out of 5.4 blown liters? that's kinda........weak. You can get that much out of a 30 year old 2.8 liter straight six :hsd:

Sounds bad ass, and plenty of room for mods. :) Hopefully its not too pricey.

That's what I was getting at. Seems they could go WAY higher in the power department without sacrificing much in the way of durability.

Hell, I know of a guy getting 50% more power out of a L turbo engine that he DDs.

because people buying performance versions of sporty cars are overly concerned about their insurance payments, right?

That just means it doesn't rev high. What kind of torque does it make?

I meant the Mustang's engine, but 400hp is pretty good for a 30-year-old carbed engine. :)

it is beyond me who would build a car just for dragging

i like street cars that are fast on the quarter mile, but i mean, that thing isn't even fast, and most people won't street it.
