Looking at a new bike. Originally I was looking at a R6 but after going to the dealer today, the R6S seemed more comfortable as a daily driver for the summer. Just wondering what the differences are between them and a R6.

    Thanks in advance.

The R6S is basically a brand new version of the old R6. The differences are pretty significant, one of them being comfort and versatility. The 08 R6 is basically a focused racebike with lights, while the S is much better for a daily rider.

The R6S is a great bike. It's essentially an 04 R6. I had one and loved every minute that I owned it. Too bad I moved and had to sell it.
