It may be ugly, but the $27,000 USD XR6 Turbo puts down these numbers

    Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo: Performance*
    0-100km/h: 5.1 seconds
    0-400m: 13.4 seconds
    Top speed after 400m: 172km/h

    The xr6t is a 362hp 4.0L inline 6 turbo

    6 speed auto or manual.

Its the launch control that gains this model 0.5 of a second on the sprint to 100.

We can get ultimate cheap skate versions of both cars for fleet sales. The performance models have 6 speed stock, but if you buy the base Commodore it looks like this.

And has a 4 speed auto

GOD those huge silver grills are disgusting! When will they learn, it makes cars look cheap and 80's style when they have a tall chrome grill like that. The other one is good though.

i suspect the falcon is the better car, its faster and probably handles better. But the Holden will sell because of its appearance. And for 90% of people that is more important.

Magazines always said that the BA handled far nicer than the outdated VZ, but i've driven both, and prefer the VZ experience. So i'm probably in those 90% that are happy as long as it looks nice, and goes fast when you stomp on the throttle.
