well, not quite. the free lance designer Kris Horton. the guy who did the ever famous 5th gen camaro (<Click) rendering thats floating around the net made this in hopes that GM will get an idea and possable save Buick from the chopin block.

    ARTICLE> http://popularhotrodding.com/features/0510phr_spread/

its based off the zeta/monaro chassis, you can kinda see it the rear windows. at first glance i was all.. :ugh: , but after thinkn about the 87 GNX i noticed the bump in the hood from the grill and the scoop, the shape of the head lights and grill, taillights have the bar though the middle and the reverse lights on the inside, and of course the fender scoops.. while its not a direct copy it defintly feels like a GNX. over all im still kinda on the fence on this thing but i think it would be cool. although they were talking about having a LS2 in it but i think it should be a Turbo V6, like the old ones? but thats just me..

i saw it in my new Popular Hod Rodding thought you guys would like to see.

the idea for that is the 400hp LS2 V8 from the GTO.. witch its plenty of power.. but i think it should be a crazy V6 like the others

GTO/Monaro clone? Weak. The LS2 is great, but they need to make it a boosted V6, ffs.

:greddy: the Falcon XR6t is the spiritual successor to the GNX anyway. Except it's an Australian Ford and it's a straight 6, but meh close enough. :o
