Click the Tundra link and you can get pictures from every angle.
It's being unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show today, probably in a couple hours or so.
the close up on the door handle. That is what sold me.
doesnt say what motor is in it other then iforce v8
God, that's hot.
Toyota is fucking awesome
Looks like a fully boxed frame. Longer wheelbase, shorter overall, taller, wider....when compared to the F150.
6.5 foot bed in a full size truck? Why don't nissan and toyota put out a longer bed??
People have speculated a 5.4-5.8L V8 w/ 380 hp.
I think that's either bull or it's an engine for the TRD version or something. I'm thinking it has the 4L v6 base engine and a 4.7 or whatever like before as the middle, and maybe a 5.4 w/ 320-330 hp. And perhaps a 380 hp TRD or something. Dunno, they'll reveal it soon so it's all guessing as of now.
Well, the F150 has a 5.5 ft bed as the base in their SuperCab and a 6.5 ft bed as an upgrade, as well as an 8 ft bed. For a a 4 door, a shorter bed is expected.
that would be an amazing coup so to speak i mean at that point it'd be the most powerful pickup in its class wouldnt it (380 version i mean)
no diesel? I thought they were going to bring a diesel too?
Definitely an improvement but still nothing I'd ever consider.
That'll push $32k on the base model, too.
Why can't they put disc brakes like that on the fucking Tacoma? That's the only reason I won't buy one.
Camry Hybrid will probably be my wife's next car.
Maybe. Depends on when the new Silverados come out.
The Silvys should have the 4.8L base v8 w/ 290 hp (might possibly have the 4.2L L6 instead w/ the same hp), the 5.3L v8 w/ DOD and VVT at 320 hp, the 6.0L and (possibly) 6.2 L at 380 hp and 403 hp respectively. Plus the Duramax diesel at 350 hp 690 ft-lbs. Oh and maybe a 4.9 v6 Duramax diesel, probably at around 220 hp 400 ft-lbs (complete guess based on displacement). It was reported that some current Silvys had those diesels in them for testing.
Really torque matters more than anything w/ pickups.
07 camry SE
Oh shit, 5.7L
The interior is a huge step up. Although I think the FJ could be my next DD
