There's a relatively stock (besides the TT) GT500 i thought with a 4R70W and if i remember right it had stock fuel system and longblock, maybe just the latter. But i remember seeing that vid as well.

Heavy ass pig of a car.

My buddy went 7.8s at 181 MPH with a lightened 98 Firebird with 1300 - 1400 or so RWHP.

With the 2010 Camaro being 60 lbs lighter... don't fill up the tank with gas - cuz then it'll be a heavy pig like the GT500. Last I checked Dodge, Chevy and Ford all have heavy ass flagship cars.

I really fail to see why the "auto" part needs to be added? If its a drag car, built for bracket racing, they would be retarded to have a manual and the fact a car that fast will long have made up what a manual gains on most cars.

Either way, it's a fast car, it deserves respect!

because the GT500, like the ZR-1 never came in auto so since its a major mod it gets listed.

Yes, the slush box that is known as the 4R70W was in all 96-03's with 04's getting the 4R75W (pretty much the same except not in some areas) then the 05+'s got the 5R55 5-speed which is better in stock trim all-around - however the 4R has much more aftermarket parts and is more stout in general.
