you cant outrun ugly
ugly as hell.. but probably fast as hell
It is a little on the ugly side, but I'm curious to see the specs on this thing. I wonder if kawasaki will go for the Hayabusa in the Top Speed wars.
I kinda think that was the point of this bike.
It's not thaaat bad looking.
I thought the manufacturers agreed to a 300 km/hr (186mph) top speed limit?? This thing looks like it'll get into the 200s pretty easy. Any bets on top speed? I'm putting mine in for 208 mph.
p.s. it looks like a dog turd.
Thats kind of what I was saying. I wonder if Kawasaki is going to break the 186(whatever) MPH mark and shoot for the 200s.
the busa is not the best looking bike around but it makes this one look like shit... this fuckin bike needs some work.
if it's a fast bike make it look like a fast bike.
NO WTF is Kawi doing?
I dont care how fast it is, its FKN OOOOOOOGLY
damn right, cause we all know its the looks of a bike that really count.
Come on Clean, you know you need something that looks good for your rides to Bike Night and back home.
Right, because I'm sure the only reason girls get on the back of bikes is because they are the "fastest production bike ever built with a new 1400cc engine and new aerodynamics that allow it to have a lower coefficient of drag.... blah, blah, blah."
Fact is, looks matter too. There's no reason it couldn't be a fast bike AND look good too.
Ahh to be young and single again.
If you're riding bikes to pick up girls, you may as well bring a girl and buy whichever 600 she says. Most girls don't care what you ride.
At least we know why you ride.
Some of us actually consider the mount we are on and why we ride it. I ride simply because I enjoy riding.
You ride to pick up women...may as well get a Harley and find some hog ho.
I'm married you tards. I don't ride to pick up chicks. I was merely demonstrating a point. Why do women and young kids like motorcycles? They don't care how fast they are. They just know they look cool. I'm sure you all got into motorcycles because Honda had a new VVT system or because you simply had to know what Suzuki's SRAD was all about. I'm a mechanical engineer and I get equally geeky when new engines and technology comes out, but that's not to say that Kawasaki couldn't have made it look better. There's a reason companies like Ducati stay in business. They don't make the fastest bikes in the world, but they do make them with a bit of style.
touché salesman v.petergriffin
Why does it look like it's from the early 90s?
Ducati makes them pretty, but don't for one second think that the main emphasis is not on technology.
and have you seen things like the Multistrada.
that is an ugly motherfucker.
Must be why they are so reliable.
They are reliable as long as you stick with the maintenance.
I wasn't going on reliability. I was speaking more specifically about how Honda, the Japanese firm known for building techno-wonders just because they can, tried to build a better Ducati (the RC51) and has never really been able to.
Ducati is first and foremost, a firm that sells bikes to support their racing habit. The 999R is an amazing machine that consistently outperforms its meager competition.
i don't see how it's ugly. maybe i'm just weird or something, but i don't really see what makes a bike ugly or not.
i think it looks better than the hayabusa, although kawasaki makes some god awful fugly bikes (ninja 250, any early-mid 90's sportbikes) but i think the 03-04 zx6 is one of the better looking bikes they made
sweet-merciful-Christ, i've never been more proud to say I know you
