Someone told me that the new 2006 Acura TSX has 205 hp under the new SAE standard. The 04-05 model has only btwn 185 - 190hp. Damn that's a sweet increase.
    Can anyone confirm this?:big grin:

the 04-05 tsx is rated at 200 hp, so if the new one is rated at 205, im sure that that increase isnt actually due to a change in configuration, but rather a difference in the way hp is measured.

if there's a change, its not a change you'd feel... its a change in the measurement. the butt dyno wont reflect any differnt results.

From what I read in autoweek, most japanese manufacturers lost power while domestics gained hp using the new SAE formula. Looks like the imports have been fudging a little on the optimistic side
