Pontiac is SO close to having it perfect, but they made the exterior TOO bland.

It's one extreme or another with them, I guess.

That's a lot of driveline loss, isn't it?

400 at the crank to 346 at the wheel?

Not really. Sounds about where it should be. A bit more would have been nice though. Like 10 more HP. I'm sure the exhaust is restrictive as hell though.

If you live in a warmer climate that doesn't see snow and have 34,000 to spend, you have no excuse not to own one of these as a daily driver.

    It's not a Pontiac, and I think it's great.

I think i'm the only person that likes the GTOs exterior. I like this year's body work with last year's hood. It looks... stately? Sophisticated? I don't know, but definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing.

04 GTOs were rated at 350hp and averaged 290hp-305hp at the wheels, the LS2 is a very nice improvement.

The curve is as smooth as the body. :boink:

~12.5% is reasonable for a RWD.

I'm on the verge of pulling the trigger for the 2005 Monaro parts today.
