The Titan was awarded FOUR WHEELERS four wheeler of the year award, beating out Ford's redesigned F-150. :eek3:

They said - Fantastic engine and transmission, bold styling, lusty exhaust note, plenty of clever touches, great ground clearance and load capacity.

They said - Great styling, terrific interior design and total quality, poor ground clearance and approache angle, and an engine that doesn't pull nearly as hard as it should.

I don't know why but call me a loyal Ford Truck fan, but the new F150 seems to have my vote. I wouldn't mind seeing the two go head to head down a 1/4 mile track.

I have ridden in both, more in the F-150 since my boss owns a new 04 crew caw FX4. The interior is already falling apart in the Ford, and a center hub cap fell off on the hwy under normal driving, also the front hood grill is loose and very cheap plastic. Keep in mind he does not use his truck for any hard work at all, he owns the dealership where I work. The Nissan had a rougher ride, but the interior and exterior appeared to be of much better quality. I think after seeing what happened to my bosses truck I would get a Titan instead.

    Ford's 5.4 Triton V8 makes 365ftlbs @ 3750rpm.
    Nissan's Endurance V8 makes 379ftlbs @ 3600rpm in the Titan and 390ftlbs @ 3600rpm in the QX56.

And the Titan was fully designed and built in America. Its more American than some American trucks. ;)

I will gladly drive down to the Nissan dealer tomorrow and take pics. They have been out in the Atlanta area for about 2 weeks. Call Team Nissan of Marietta in Georgia and ask them your self.

btw: My boss had his Crew Cab 2 weeks before it hit the South Market, he bought his in Boston. Dealers and Wholesalers have access to cars weeks or days before anyone else.
