    :dunno: Never claimed to have any massive amount of horsepower.
    I wanted an under $20k car that was reliable, new, and sporty.

    $17,450 OTD with 7 year 84k mile warranty = under $20k
    Honda = reliable
    2004 = new in may of '04
    Si = resonably sporty

    I seriously considered the Tc but I would have had to wait another month (released in June) here in New England. Also I was slighly concerned at the resale value as well as reliability of a Tc (due to the fact it is a new Make and Model), even though it is pretty much a Toyota.

    yeah, it's a new model... but all the parts have been proven for years. The engine is basically straight out of the camry.

    Oh, cool. I did not realize that the engine was pretty much a Camry engine. :wiggle:

    Thx for the knowledge as Camry engines have been reliable as far as I can remember.

    :wiggle: Yep that's what we call them. Unfortunately, in NH it is not really easy to drive around lowered, so I'm thinking that until I get something else I can drive in the winter, it will have to remain a minivan and not get coilovers.

    :dunno: All about the B? H? Bah I dont really care, I bought what I wanted.

    At least I'm not the one buying a base WRX and trying to make it look like an Sti. That would be as bad as me buying all kinds of CTR body parts and slapping them on my car.

    It looks like a mini van even if its lowered. As long as you like it, it's cool.

    Pondered it, but I'll most likely blow it up. I have not even hit my rev limiter in it yet. I don't really race it much and I have never been to the drag strip with it. I let the DSM club I am in do the drag racing. I would most likely go the Cybernation or Rev Hard rout if I were to do anything extensive. Besides, as it being my only car, I can't have the downtime that would be needed to send my ECU to Hondata.

    If this is your daily driver, then I suggest you don't fuck with it. I have a friend that can't stop messing with his cars, and he's always regretting it (yet never learns any better). He's currently got a non-working Supra in his driveway (blown engine) looking at getting a Scion Tc because he wants something cheap but sporty (btw, I testdrove a 5-speed Tc yesterday, and it's VERY impressive, especially at the $16k pricetag!) and he's talking about a turbo for the Scion -- he's never gonna learn!

    Ding! Thats my mentality at the moment. I think if I want something fast, I'll pay this off and add a bike. I will have more warranty left after this is paid off.

    psst, hey buddy...i bought all Ver 7 parts, which were the JDM bugeye STi parts which never came to america...my foglight covers, lip, and wing were never on the US STi. And also, all that stuff was bought before the STi was even announced to come over to america.
