so many cool cars out there...... I have no idea what I want to get
Can't go wrong with a Civic DX.
I'd get the M5.
none of those would please me
so, when will you be picking up your new Chevy Aveo?
Porsche or Viper. Corvette and BMW are too commonplace, IMO. I know the M5 is not common, but too many BMWs look all alike.
My absolute max budget is $65k.
Because on OT you can pretend you can afford anything!
If I get a sedan, like the M5, I will sell my Audi A4 and keep the Audi TT. But if I get another two seater, I'll keep all 3 cars.
SCIronMike's income and previous cars > your life
BMWs are commonplace for sure, but Corvettes are few and far between here.
Just get a new z0
really? the Z06 isn't too common around here, but I see those more often than a 911, and I definitely see them more often than Vipers. And the regular C5? On a nice summer day, they're every few blocks. It's a great car, but it's soo common.
Z06 with the higher of the two option packages comes out to $71k or so..... and all the dealerships are demanding premiums.
M5, no question.
Here's what I would do. Keep the A4 for a daily, sell the TT, buy a Viper, and s/c the Viper with the TT money.
That's all on paper, though. After driving all 4 cars, you'll know exactly what to do.
And I'd call BS on this if you didn't live where you live. My friend's aunt lives there. 5000 square feet for 4 mil?
I can't sell the TT...... it is my wife's car.
get the M5
get a 02 996 TT
I'm worried about poor build quality. I've been browing the Corvette Forums a lot, and it is LOADED with posts about really troubling build issues. Rattling roofs, draining batteries, poor body panel fitment, etc. The performance, price, and looks of the car are hot though. I would get a 2006 C6 with the 3LT package, Z51 package, manual tranny, nav system, and competition wheels.
no more audi love for yourself?
2006 s4 is calling
Sweet car, but I am concerned that the body style looks too dated and the platform/technology are getting old.
