I'm currently looking at this car and it seems to be well taken care of. The exterior shows almost no defects and the interior looks brand new.

The downside is that it has 192,000 miles on it and it's only 2001.

However, my father already debated and knocked down the price down to $2,500 for it.

It's a luxury car as well, not a regular one. We test drove it and it felt really smooth as silk.

If it's been taken care of...go for it. Friend has a 88 Pontiac Bonneville with the 3800 v-6 motor and it has over 350k miles on it. The motor has been bullet proof.

Sounds like this guy is a traveling salesman or something. Lots of highway miles. For $2500 I'd buy it.

W Bodies are generally good cars. Power Train is reliable, only possible weak point is the transmission. There are lots of nickel and dime things that can make them a headache to own..... I suggest heading over to somewhere like clubgp and just read a few topics in the problems/troubleshooting area to give you an idea of possible issues.

3800 is a good motor, but its not a particularly exciting car

    I'd buy it.

I tried to get my wife to look at used Buicks because they're usually very well cared for. But she refuses.

I  my w-body. It has 151,xxx and I'm just getting it broken in.

Have one, watch the transmission. Everything else is bulletproof.
