    v6 5 speed manual. 87,xxx miles.

    $5,500 obo.
    is it a good buy? what should i counteroffer with?
    looks excellent. i'm going to check it out this weekend.


    i'm looking to supercharge or turbocharge it.

    If you want a cheap project car and want to do forced induction, go for a '88-'93 5.0 LX.

    Agreed, if you're looking to mod a car, that thing won't get you very far. I'd say look for something older and nice for the same price and mods will be a lot cheaper.

    v6 cars are made to conserve gas not to scream.. (mustangs anyway)

    that is a good price, but those do not conserve gas or get fast for cheap

    v6 mustangs have a great engine in terms of durability... but for performance and mileage you're going to be very disapointed.

    A 4.6L GT will cost you a bit more, get slightly worse mileage, but perform alot better.
