For the record, I don't want to put the Titan up for sale, but with the economy going the way it is - I really can't afford the 435 a month price I'm paying for that. I can get out of it I think and not lose any on it, but the only vehicle I can think of in a price range around 10-11k that I would be happy with is a Mustang 00-05 are the years I'm looking at. Typically I want the mileage to be around 50k in a GT Model with a 5spd manual transmission.

Mileage is relatively low for a 10 year old car :dunno:

I think you should buy it if you want it.

Really? You think it looks ragged out? *shrug* I thought it looked well taken care of considering the year and the look of typical driver side seat conditions I've seen while browsing.

You're probably right but I've also been shopping Miatas and ones even in that same year seemed to have better looking leather.

    Still it IS a Roush....

And as to the second car, I think I like the first better.

I'm mostly looking for anecdotes about their experience with a certain year...so far the 2 I've found that I really like are from the year 2000.

I've got a 99 that has 87k on it now and had very few problems but the ones i've had are annoying. fuel pump died, idle air control valve stuck shut, blew a plug outa the head. but overall it's been a good car. I"m starting to regret having it as my only car though

dont forget about the plastic coolant crossover tube that will crack and leak. Or the rear caliper sliders freezing up.. :hsugh:

I could go on and on, but if I had the $$ Id make an offer on that red one

My last car was a 2000 Roush of the 'stage 2' variety. It was a fun car, but the engine blew up a couple months after i bough it. I bought it used with around 30k on the clock and drove it pretty easy, so i'm thinking the previous owner ragged it out or something, who knows. After that it never felt quite right and i was always afraid if was going to blow up again.

Well, I sat in several newer and older models....and I just couldn't see myself enjoying a 200+ mile ride...

So I started looking at GTOs.....

Found an 04 GTO A4 with 53000 miles close to home. Titan is gone - GTO is in!
