Yea, yea I've heard all the shit about em. I find the design to be very unique and with the Koni/GC setup they're a blast to drive.

    - Koni yellows with GroundControl coilovers
    - ROUSH rear sway bar
    - OMP front strut tower bar
    - Ford ST200 rear strut tower bar
    - Borla exhaust
    - K&N intake
    - MSDS headers & Y-pipe
    - Kaminari hood (opened to cool engine bay)
    - Visteon body kit (sans front, but coming)
    - Soon to be replaced wheels.

Looking to do the 300mm Focus SVT front disc upgrade and the 278mm rear disc swap from the drums. Then later a nice 3l package.

Sounds like a fun ride, but the front seems a little 'crowded' with the hood paint.

    Not my style, but whatever...

Ricetacular. I've always wondered what goes through people's heads as they place a parts order from autozone. Any input?

The only thing from Autozone in there is the battery. Your point?

I think "damn, same exact part as Napa, but fifty bucks cheaper" (seldom the case, but it does happen).

They do sell some quality stuff (Federal Mogul, Fel-Pro, Mellings, etc), but the "Ricer crap" section is full of garbage. Ditto Advance...

Stock motor minus the I/H/E setup. A stock 2.5l MTx was dyno'd around 150whp. I would guestimate that at best it's near 165whp-170whp as the engine doesn't respond well to some mods. An SVT Contour UIM can be popped on and help a bit tho.

The 3.0l is a good base engine to build from. It's the same Duratec good enough for the Noble M12. A few people have built up their own to get well into the 300hp area.

I, personally, see the car as a nice cruiser.

Probably the lowest mileage one I could get. Which would be someone's rolled Escape. :)

cruiser is a word ricers use, if your going to leave it looking like that, you need 250whp+

That's pretty much how it's always been. They look pretty going slow.

At least you admit it's just to cruise around in, and don't boast about AWD CRV drivetrains and hidden superchargers ;)

Like the others said, not my thing.. but each to their own.

never realized how much a late-gen accord coupe looks like the cougar. almost see some G6 coupe lines taken from it too...

I dont think adding a body kit is a good idea

Just a question: but why are you swapping your brakes? When you bury the break pedal, does your ABS (assuming you have it), come on, or does nothing really spectacular happen? Most people don't seem to understand that if you can bury the brake pedal and activate your ABS or lock your tires, you don't need better brakes, you need stickier tires.
