[But having over 100K miles ftl.]
nah. 2001+ are the good models. those are still in the high 30s
Where in Atl are you?
rather have a CTS-V
faster, cheaper, easier to mod and cheaper to insure
and lets keep it real
the 00 M5 interior is SUB PAR to the CTS-V
The first time I have to disagree with you on cars. I would have expected more from you. What about an '03 M5 vs '03 CTS-V.
The two-tone sucks nuts, but otherwise m5 interior>cts or any other caddy
looks alone, the CTS V wins
pre new body style 5's look old and dated. dont even get me started on the interior. sure, its a great performer and a solid car, but it was old when it was new
the e39s still look classy as fuck. just the right amount of sexiness too
oh hey, we are using the same ac controls as a 96 318i and the same layout as the 98 525
oh wait, the NAV screen got "wide" in 01
welcome to 2000
here are your oakleys, they are in fashion also
kduvv ia on the ball in this thread
i meant kdubb, not kduvv. god damn beer.
i love both cars, but if I had to purchase one and live with it, the CTS V would be in the garage, not the M
hard to accept, but the truth sometimes hurts
E39 is the most classy saloon car of the last 10 years. Simplicity at it's finest.
comparing it to a CTS-V is just
because its standard to redesign everything every year.
apparently the 09' ( i think 09... ) cts-v is going to be quite nice. It is supposed to have the new ls3 engine
Even though I am a benz sack rider.. I do believe the e39 M5 > w210 e55. I don't know what Mercedes was thinking when they designed the w210. The w124 and w211 are nice though. The new 5 series still look ugly to me. I doubt it will grow on me
cts-v not released until 2004. cts is a more practical, cheaper to fix car.
somewhat agreed, but end its legacy in 2003... shit, it was done for in 01'
it set the mark in 99 and 2000, however, it outdated itself prematurely just as MB did with the previous S class. The car wasnt progressive enough from the jump, but it did however trump everything else it competed against. Not a hard feat to accomplish when you are ALREADY on top of the game
with that said, if I had to buy a V8, RWD, performance sedan for around 30K, the M5 would be left aside. maintenance and high cost of mods alone would be enough to make me look elsewhere
I think the W211 is an amazing vehicle. Just everything about it is perfect. The way the lines flow, is just
What are you trying to prove with those pictures?
CTS-v > M5 in exterior styling
m5 > cts-v in interior design
What would you want to mod in a M5?
