    Any recommendations?

I just got my CDT CL-61a installed. There is now no bass in my car. I have about $200 to spend, should I get a Basslink or piece out a amp, sub, and box for $200?

I am not looking for pissing off the neighbor bass. Just a solid punch :o

Isn't that amp underpowered for that sub?

The basslink you are referring to is the infinity model, right? If so, I would go for that instead of trying to buy a decent amp, box, sub combo for $200. I have heard good things about the basslink. And, it sounds like you just want to round out your bottom end so this should be great for that.

"Relay"? Just use a splice and tap off of the existing remote turn on wire.

Yes, ground is ground. Make sure the cable lengths are as short as possible. I.e. put the bolt as close to the amps as is reasonable, preferably within 18 inches.

RE is having a group buy on the RE subs here is the link >> http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2274

you could get a pair of RE8s, ($74 shipped for the pair leaving you 126 for the amp)

they are DVC4 and get a decent little amp that will do ok power at 4 ohms mono, here are some ideas:

    http://www.cardomain.com/item/MTX282

    http://www.cardomain.com/item/USAUSC2080

of the amps listed the MTX is a solid amp and the USAcoustics amps have always been great for me, good luck

here isa great little 2 ohms mono amp that would do the trick and is only $99,

    http://www.cardomain.com/item/DEI45011

a little more power than needed for that sub, but if you are easy on the gains you should be fine

How hard is it to build a box like that? I have no woodworking skills... is there a box I can buy that has that type of specs?

can talk more on there about price, we offer kits, where the wood is pre-cut and labeled, so you would just have to drill togethor and glue it, but most people prefer us build the entire box
