I know these threads come up all the time, "I have two weeks to a pool party, how do i get a 6pack!?!"
however, I have been eating healthy and exercising since january and have lost 42lbs. I've went from 34-35% bf to 23'ish. I've got two weeks before I start up at a new school and I really want to look my slimmest. My diet now consists of 4-400 calorie meals with at least 25g protein and all low gi carbs, brown rice, whole wheat grain etc. also two 100cal snacks. This has been working for me but i really want to maximize my efforts over the next two weeks, what are you suggestions?

I also drink a lot of plain green tea and caffeine.

Just stick with it. Sounds like you're doing good now. You can't really change that much in two weeks.

honestly i think you should just keep doing what your doing and just train harder... People wont remember exactly what you looked like the first month they meet you at school, they will start to notice when you get jacked and slim over the course of the year though. Getting jacked or slim doesnt happen in 2 weeks.

Just seems a little low if you're lifting too. And forget about 2 weeks.

Well i heard that when restricting carbs you have an initial dramatic weight loss and I really don't pay attention to my carb intake, just the protein and keep the carbs clean.

it does sound pretty low but i've played around with it over the last 6 months and 1800 is pretty optimal for me, plus it allows for some leeway if my portion sizes are a little larger sometimes.

I agree with those saying 'stick to what you're doing, already.'

If you still insist on last minute changes... increase water intake and cut carbs.

kk, if I were to forget the two week timeframe... would my diet be more effective if I limited my carbs and upped the fats/protein? say 100g carbs per day? thats 25 per meal x 4-400 calorie meals.
I'm a total newb when it comes to carbs except i try to get my carbs from clean sources.

A calorie deficit is where you want to be. The macro nutritional ratios are going to vary person to person. You're going to have to play with it to figure it out to get the best results long term.

ok I think im going to try to lower my carb intake and up my fats. Only question is when counting my carbs (100 a day to start) do I use the total carbs or subtract the dietary fiber and do net carbs? this is relevant because all my grain products are high fiber.

i should add that I will more than likely be incorporating counting carbs into my long term diet plans
