It was nice out yesterday so at work we took the kids out for a walk.

    1. I absolutely love this building, this is right outside my work. I'm thinking about blowing this one up and putting in my office. Any C&C to make it better would be excellent.

    2. Put an old fashion action to it.

1st is cool like the lighting..

the second one looks too.... flat? i'd like more contrast, a nice high contrast B+W would look nice in this photo

Really like the first one, perfect time of day, everything is kind of in the shade except for that building, really brings it in as the focal point.

Second looks slightly pelfed to me. When you go that far with the PP it kind of comes down to a point of personal preference. It doesn't do much for me but I could understand if someone else really liked it. It looks like you're trying to go like old fashioned, except the trees and the people look like negatives and that is a little distracting to me.

1st shot will also look nice if you wait for the trees to start to bloom/fully bloom.
2nd is waay too flat though.

That's cool, but I don't like the reflection being cutoff.

reflection's really making the photo... and like keegan said, wait until you've got some trees in full bloom, shoot again, and decide which you prefer... The trees might wind up covering most of the subject in this case though.

  13. Get a shot when it's dark out instead

yeah I didn't notice that about the trees until later. I think if I cropped just the top part of the building it might look better.

TheManLouisanaFace I really like your pp on it better. Nice!

I definitely wanna do that but I don't have a tripod yet and its a fairly sketchy area to be with an expensive camera at night.
