i can't tell u in here where to pirate software but u can buy it from the apple store and it is pretty self explanitory, and u can pull sings into there and edit the times, or in itunes u can change the starting point if the song and it will start from whereever u want it to

Google is your best friend for Garageband. Just search what you want to do.

the finder has built in ability to burn data files. if you want to burn an image, it can be done in disk utility, toast, etc.

mactheripper is a good ripper for dvds.

  8. ok i used mac the ripper to save the dvd file then how do i use it to save the dvd to a blank? 0r do i use something else to put the movie on a blank?

Select the VIDEO_TS folder in the Finder and go to "Get Info" in the File menu and see what the size of the folder is.

If it's only 5 gigs, it shouldn't be a problem, Popcorn or Toast should be able to compress them to fit a single layer disc.

I don't know why it's not working for you.
