Heh, my grandpa took me and made my buy high caps for a bunch of guns. I was pissed at him at the time since my money was going to better uses like video games and such :hsugh:. But now I am happy. They are Glock 17 mags that fit in any Glock 9mm gun.

I live in CA and we have a 10 cap limit as well. I just had an awesome grandpa who took me to buy high caps when he heard about the ban and I put them in box and they sat for 10 years

I have 30 round mags for my Vz 58, and they are pinned to 5 rounds (semi-auto rifles 5 round MAX unless they take pistol mags) with a shitty ass rivet

How do you prove you didn't just order it somewhere else? How does that work exactly if you have "preban" mags.

He have them out here all day for $25 a mag.

It is not my job to prove they are legal the burden is on the state to prove they are illegal. And since there is no date stamp on mags and these have been around forever it is almost a unenforceable law unless you do something dumb and buy high caps for a gun that has only been out since 2001 .

Nope, you have to have purchased them before the ban.

Well shit, I wouldn't even break a sweat then. Why don't a lot more Cali guys have hi caps? Maybe they are and it's that way already, but it always seems that most guys I read, they really sweat this law.

I know a lot of guys who purchased high caps preban like myself. I have high caps for guns I don't even own :rofl:. I have been asked and hassled about it but all mine are legal and I don't worry about it.

My little brother is being stationed down in California for a year starting in July. Too bad he can't bring his AR-15 with him. That's staying here in my safe.

He's stationed there for a year. He didn't want to risk getting into any trouble as he finishes his 10th year in the Navy there.

well, i would have, but i was young and stupid and didnt know shit about guns :sad2:

it sucks, because theres no age limits for magazines so i could have stocked up on high caps before 2000 and saved them for today.
