    i'm tossing around the idea of combining 2 HDMI sources to my TV (cable box, and dvd player) on 1 HDMI cable..

    and then using the other ran HDMI (that was used for my dvd player) for a HDMI wall plate

    can you guys recommend me a good 2 in, 1 out splitter?

    running a 3rd HDMI behind my TV is out of the question.. i'm not cutting more holes in the walls for it.

    how are you envisioning switching between sources?

    isn't this what a receiver is for?

    :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Most TV's now have at least 2 HDMI inputs. A receiver will have 4-8 now.
