Will 1z GW strip oils left behind by stuff like #80 or 1z MP? :dunno:

It may reduce the wet look slightly but will make the reflections sharper. It will not in anyway affect the polishing #80 did.

Yeah, that is what I meant :) I know it won't affect the polishing, but didn't know if it would strip some/all of the oils it leaves behind, reducing the wetness it brings, as you mentioned :) I'm trying to decide on 1z GW or UPP on my dark red metallic here in the next month (I already have both) :hs: I need to remove some very light marring due to it not seeing anything but careful washes for 3 years, it hasn't seen anything other than SEPC or AIO as a polish goes. I've done S100, SG, and #16 on it so far. I know GW will make the metallic pop, but the slickness and look of UPP... :dunno:

I think you will really like GW. I just washed a silver Land Bruiser today that has a nearly 3 month old coat of GW on it (applied December 16th) and it was still noticably slick and looked very wet.

BTW, this is GW on a Lexus LS430 at the 9 week point:
