hi guys, i'm getting really confused and dissapointed as to why my laptop takes 3 whole minutes to calculate Pi to 1M digits. I'm starting to think that it's a hardware issue, but i really hope not..

    ASUS Z63A
    1.86Ghz P-M
    1.0GB RAM DDR2-533
    60GB 4200RPM
    915GM chipset

    :wtc:

this is the second time i've reformatted and had the same results before the reformat as well. and usually, my CPU is spiked at about 75% and i can't figure out why; and this is after a fresh reformat, so nothing but windows stuff running

    :wtc: please help OT
