    heh, i bought a memory stick a whole year before i got any devices that worked with it...:(, i guess it just looked cool to me

    i only have an 8mb one, how pathetic is that considering the new ones

    You realize that Sandisk makes 4 GByte flash memory?

    Not sure if it would be compatible with your Vaio though...

    Yeah, but memory sticks are like, fucking tiny, i didnt think so much could fit in such a small space.

    It would be extra cool on a clie

    Its about time. Jeez. I didnt even consider sonys for a digi cam because of there proprietary memory crap, and its limitations. :down:

    memstick is such an awesome format... its too bad non-sony products dont use it... or at least that Sony use it in products other than their cameras.

    They had such a chance to put it in their PS2. Even if it was magicgate only, it would've been great.

    Yeah, i see both your views, the problem is so many manufacturers trying to push new formats, they should standardize.
