Need some car help OT. I'll be the first to say I don't know anything about cars (rapair wise, finding out whats wrong).

I"ll describe the problem the best I can, and hope you guys can help me out.

    NOTE: Car is MT.

Recently the car started vibrating/shutting down when I come to a stop or slow down to less than 5mph. Whether I put it in neutral and stop at the light or keep the clutch in and stop the car starts vibrating and about 8/10 times the car will shut off. Only way for me to keep the car on is by revving the engine if im at low speeds. This issue doesn't happen when Im driving faster than 10mph.

What could be the problem OT?

    Thanks for any input. :)

Could be fucked up idle speed motor. My friend had this problem with his Escort. It was an automatic, so it was kind of funny when we would be at stoplights, he would pop it into neutral and give it some revs to keep it from stalling. His was fried, but a civic tends to get their idle motor stuck. Have it checked out.
