Anyone have experience with them? How reliable are they? Anything important I should know about (other than the fact that driving a 10 year old Benz wouldn't make me a balla')?

I found an insanely clean looking one on Craigslists with 115k for 7 grand, But, I don't jack about the early/mid 90's MB's. :o

I know about them :eek3:. They have a solid motor :noes:. And check out this AMG 300E essentially the same car and motor.

Any issues, like electrical gremlins? If I were to buy a car this expensive I wouldn't be able to afford anything more than gas and insurance. :hs:

    That AMG is hawt!

Insurance is scam. Do you care to share your quote ? My insurance here is quite ridiculous :hs:.

If you're still interesting in MB look at 300E's like the one I posted and some C-Class models.

Great cars! They are solid as hell and since that is the last year of that shape/model I'm sure MB has worked out all the problems that plagued earlier models. My family has had E series models for a long time and they did not give very much trouble at all. Go to www.mercedesforum.com to get more detailed information about that model. As long as you take care of that car it should last forever.

excellent car, my '93 300ce has been awesome

(only problems have been dealing with the uber lowness and that has to do with me modding the suspension and not the car)

the '92 300E has been solid as hell too, did need a water pump and radiator but it is 12 years old, runs great, just keep plowing ahead
