just bought it for 200$ needs some engine repair due to a 3k RPM idle and a fucked up vacuum system.

dude the 3.1l sideways v6's are a pain in the ass my old grand prix had one of those it was ok but if you beat on them too much they blow head gaskets. if i were you i would take it to a junk yard and get more then what u paid for it then turn around and buy something better. like a truck or a honda that will run forever.

Cleaned up really nice with the hubcaps on, cleaned.... with some nice new rubber, it'd look great. The paint is still surprisingly reflective.

I had a 96 that got handed down to from my great aunt. I got it in 2003 with 4900 miles on it and drove it trouble free until I traded it in for 5995 in 2006 with 70k on the clock.

In other words, it's not worth the hassle.

Hey, scrap steel is at ~$300 a ton (roughly twice what the car's worth).

:gtfo: The Series II 3800SC is bulletproof. Too bad the rest of the car (including the trans) isn't. One recall, for a valve cover gasket (which is a fucking maintenance item, for christ's sake).

The n/a motors, with their plastic manifolds, were another story. :o
