1993 jeep wrangler, need to replace front speakers...

    my left one blew and my right one sounds funny... i have no clue how to take the covers off of them though..it looks like its integrated into the dash with a bunch of hex screws.... looking to drop in some Polk Audio db460's

    alot of jeeps you have to come from below, and behind... i need to see the dash to be sure though.

    Have fun. The speakers come out from behind. Normally, I remove the hex screws from the front and hacksaw off the top corner bolt as it is next too impossible to get from behind. The other three bolts aren't bad. I think they are 7mm or 9/32. The passenger side is easier. The drivers side sometimes requires pulling the cluster. Depends also on how big your hands are. Try and line up the holes on the new speaker. You may have to space it out from the dashpiece slightly so the speaker doesn't hit the metal while playing. Good luck
