This was a dramatic transformation to say the least. This car looks like it had a couple of resprays. Half of the panels were single stage and half were CC. The customer works for a local contractor and told me the car gets plenty of grit and grime. He is moving to Florida so hopefully it will stay nice and swirl free down in the land of sun shine!

Check out the rest of the pictures and write up on my blog (so I don't have to type it all out 6 times for all the boards I post on...).

Damn! That is some seriously high quality work! #84 + twisted wool is pretty aggressive but looks like you had no choice on that car.

Thanks all. Yeah #84 will be replacing my lighter wetsanding jobs. That is some serious stuff. But it makes quick work of serious correction like this one. It would have taken me twice as long to wetsand all of that.

great looking work, after using the rotary to correct, do you use a rotary to polish or a pc?

Rotary to finish. It just is so much faster.

White CCS pad with Optimum Polish mized 50/50 with Menzerna Intensive Polish. Slower speeds (like 1,200 rpm max).
