theres an 88 camaro right near my house that i wanna buy, but i dont really wanna shell out $30 to do a CARFAX records check. i was wondering if anyone knew of any other appraisal websites or had a CARFAX subscription or whatever. the car isnt in very good condition, which is why i dont wanna spend anything to check up on it. but i do think it would be kinda a fun project car. please let me know if anyone can help.:x:

    thanks:)

All you need to know is that the 8th digit of the VIN should be an 8--signifying the Tuned-Port 5.7L.

Fuck 'em...you can find a better deal out there.

If it's gonne be a long-term project, it doesn't matter as much what you start with; the end result is what counts.

What kind of project? Do you have to start with an IROC, or would another trim level work?

    .

If you have time and tools there are lots of inexpensive ways to build a third gen.
