So, I bought this a little while back, and the guy just did not want to be responsible for smog. So, I got him to knock the price down to $800 dollars from $1200 and he didn't have to pass it on smog, so that was a deal.

Now, I took it to get smogged at my brothers work, and it passes fine. Except when they turn the key and start it up, the check engine light does not come on. So we pulled out my dash and took a look, and there wasn't even a bulb in the spot. And when we add a bulb there, it won't work. We are thinking it's a wiring issue.

Now as for the smog, the guy that smogged it said I should find out if they even came with check engine lights from the factory. He said some vehicles didn't and are exempt from that part of the smog test, but he didn't have the time to look. Any suggestions?
