    1987 Buick Regal Grand National

Completely stock with all options except twilight sentinel, digital dash, moonroof/t-tops, trunk kit, and cassette stereo with EQ.

I bought it on March 11th, 1998 with 21,000 original miles, it was never modified except new Pirelli P4000 tires from the original owner. The car had the original plugs, wires, battery etc., even the spare tire had never seen the ground. The original owner had all service and repair records from 1987 to document the mileage and what had been done to the car.

The original owner was a Corvette collector from the Twin Cities and was associated with a Chevrolet dealership there, he purchased this car new from Win Stephens Buicktown in 1987. He sold his Corvettes and this lone Grand National to buy a ranch in Montana, he was sort of a cowboy at heart.

Close up of one of the 15 inch chrome plated, steel wheels. The center cap features Buick's "Power 6" logo.

A closeup of my dash and the 85MPH speedo. It's hard to see in the scan but the odometer reads 31,700 miles in the photo.

I drove the car with my father from South Dakota to Detroit, MI last month for the Woodward Dream Cruise, it rained the whole way there and this is a picture from a gas stop somewhere in Michigan.

    Nice Buick

:big grin: With those kind of miles, why is the trunk emblem on the passenger side?? Has it ever been hit or repainted? The emblem really belongs on the driver's side....just my 2 cents...........

    Good eye. :big grin:

The car had paint problems from the factory like many GN's, and the previous owner had it repainted in 1994. He was able to supply the records for it.

We used to buy, repair, and sell late model automobiles and inspected this one thoroughly, no signs of any accidents anywhere on this Grand National.

It's a shame they put the emblem on the wrong side though, on the driver's side was an metal emblem advertising the dealership this guy had a stake in. I promptly removed it when I got the car home. The rest of the paint job is fantastic, no overspray, orange peel, uneven surface, fish eyes and the like.

Don't you like the Rendezvous? The Rendezvous is about $31,000 but the Mercedes ML320 is $37,000... I think te Benz is a better deal. About the same size engine.
